Daryel Brock Memorial Scholarship
Honoring Leadership, Service, and Education in Missouri’s Wastewater Industry
The Daryel Brock Memorial Scholarship honors the legacy of Daryel William Brock, a pioneer in Missouri’s onsite wastewater industry and a passionate supporter of professional education.
Born in Cassville, Missouri, Daryel dedicated his career to improving environmental health across the state. From his early days as a Sanitarian to serving as Bureau Chief for Environmental Regulation & Licensure at the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services, Daryel helped shape the state’s onsite wastewater requirements. In 1996, he was honored with the Governor’s Award for his impactful contributions. Although not a board member of MSO, Daryel actively collaborated with MSO to promote installer education and helped lay the groundwork for many of our current programs.
In 2009, Daryel passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a legacy of service and a strong belief in the power of education. In his honor, the Daryel Brock Memorial Scholarship was established.
